The notification applies when a co-owner is registered for the first time and when an existing co-owner is removed.
The process
The owner fills out the notification and pays for the registration.
The co-owner confirms and signs the notification electronically.
The co-owner registration is updated in the vehicle register.
Cost
A co-owner registration or removal costs 1.181 ISK which the owner pays upon registration.
