News on influenza A(H1N1)

Confirmed cases of influenza A(H1N1)v in Iceland as of 7 August 2009

72 cases of influenza A(H1N1)v have now been confirmed during the period from 22 May to 7 August 2009. Of those confirmed with the disease, 37 are males and 35 are women.

So far no one has been reported with serious disease nor been hospitalised due to the influenza.
