News on influenza A(H1N1)

Fifteen cases of influenza A(H1N1)v have been confirmed in Iceland.
Within the last 24 hour four additional cases of influenza A(H1N1)v have been confirmed in Iceland. The total number of cases confirmed are therefore 15. Two of the four recent cases two are women 24 and 33 years of age. They have not been traveling abroad and do not have obvious connection to travelers. The other two cases are a male 21 year of age and a boy 7 years of age. Both were arriving to Iceland from the Philippines on 15 July and 16 July, respectively. None of these four cases had serious disease and all are improving without specific treatment.Further information
